青蛙莲心壶（紫泥胎），以荷花、青蛙为素材，于传统中出新意，构思巧妙。壶体采用清水紫泥，仿佛荷花对月盛放。盖上敷墨绿泥拟青青的莲蓬，段泥与红泥做莲子在盖内生嫩俏皮，壶盖上蹲坐一只望天的青蛙作壶钮。莲子与蛙眼皆可动，顿觉生气逼人、惟妙惟肖。壶嘴与壶把均为藕段，刻绘细腻。
This teapot with designs of frog and lotus nut (made from purple clay) is characterized by ingenious design with traditional materials. With purple clay as material, the body takes the shape of blooming lotus. Dark green clay is applied on the lid to imitate green lotus seedpod with beautiful and tender lotus seeds whose material is Duan clay and red clay. A sculpture of sitting frog looking up at the sky is used as the knob. Lotus seeds and eyes of fog are movable, vivifying the whole teapot. Both spout and handle are in the shape of lotus root with fine and smooth scribing.
